Uhoh! I've just handed in my notice....

... today I finally plucked up the courage to tell 'my' parents that come the New Year they will need to look elsewhere for childcare.

Yes that is correct - I am self-unemployed.

And I feel pretty happy about that :-)

Who knows what I will do after Christmas, that can take care of itself.

Anyone fancy a celebratory drink?

  9. Congratulations! I bet it feels good - in a slightly panicky way!

It was good to read your dictionary. Hope Feck is used often, like Father Jack in Father Ted.

  10. Oh well done Mrs Trash - how utterly liberating for you. Will you look for gainful employment? Or lounge around on your ar$e all day like wot I do?

  11. Jealous! I'm so jealous!

(LOVE my job but it'd be pretty cool to be self-unemployed.)
