... we have also had our last ever Primary School Sports Day.
That is it. No more Primary School life for our Hillltop family. After all these years of ferrying kids up and down the hill to the most beautifully-sited school ever we are finished. In just two weeks time my Boychild begins Secondary School!
{Sniff}{Sniff} The end of an era. Ah well, big adventure awaits.
ReplyDeleteNow...a job? Do tell!!! ;-D
Actually Anna I am so completely over the poor management of that school that I bid it good riddance. My boy has not had the easiest run there with certain teachers and senior management.
DeleteGulp. Good luck to him on the next big adventure. I suspect I will sook very hard when it's my turn!
ReplyDeleteTo be honest SG, his farewell service was the tenth I have attended and one of the ones I cried at least. The incompetence and denial of senior management and non-teaching staff we have had to deal with in the last halfterm has been stunning.
DeleteI hope Secondary School is a better experience.
ReplyDeleteMy baby too has just had his first 6 months at secondary. It's different not having any of my kids with me at school. I think he misses it too.
