That is never good is it?
A good friend told me her dad died last night.
It was his birthday.
I like the symmetry in that.
I went to visit her tonight.
In between the tears we laughed.

Awww, sorry to hear about your friend's father. I like the symmetry of his dying on his birthday too - somehow makes him seem 'special'.
ReplyDeleteTake care. x
Sorry to hear about your friend's Dad but so poignant that he died on his birthday. Laughter is such a gift at times like this and I know she will appreciate your love and support.

ReplyDeleteSorry to hear the news. I too like the symmetry. My grandfather opened and closed* his parish church, and it was comforting to know.
