Why I love Wednesdays.

Wednesdays for me are magical. The evenings are set in their own little timewarp.

This is a place of mystery and delight.

Over 11 years now and I still love to go here for painting.

I love to be here in all weathers and humours. It is a balm for my soul.

In the Summer we paint into the dark of the night listening to the grain trailers being hauled from the fields.

In the Winter we listen to the rain and wind.

It has become so much more than a class.

These women are my role models.

My inspiration and my passion.

I take guidance from them. Sometimes sought.

Sometimes not.

I sing to them (however unintentionally).

These women are my friends.

  66. How great for you! I love my women's group that meets on Thursday's. We are a bible study group - but we often just share about what's going on in our lives, our hopes and our dreams.
Sometimes we just laugh and watch movies.
But Thursdays are my favorite days of any week, and I faithfully defend that precious spot on my calendar knowing that I get to hang out with an awesome group of women.

Congrats on finding and cherishing your own amazing ladies!
