What? (said in a voice vainly trying to sound innocent).

Morning after I returned back from TGTH 2.0 and Princess C-W was in the kitchen putting her hair up for school.

Here' I said in best 'I'm home and jetlagged and wanting to re-establish mothering role' voice 'let me fix that for you.'

Once all was in place and smoothed back a slight double-take was required.

In fact, to prove myself NOT crazy photographic evidence was required.

Apparently NO scissors, teeth, saw, knife or other cutting implement has been anywhere near her hair.
Perhaps it was simply the product of a jet-lag addled mind?!?!

  2. Oh-ho! We've had plenty of experience of non-scissor induced hair shrinkage!

  3. My son put scissors near his head once and it was so bad we shaved his head! Luckily he was only 4 so it wasn't too traumatic for him. Kids will experiment, wait till she wants to shave her legs and gets a big cut down her shin and tells you I don't know how it happened, maybe the razor slipped off the edge of the bath.

  5. The barber goblins have visited Princess C Dub in the night, whilst you were all sleeping. They probably used what they took to make goblin stuff.

As you can tell, I have a vivid imagination.

  6. It's new growth. Usually happens a bit more symmetrically than that though!!! xx

  7. Could be new growth, surely! Benefit of the doubt and all that.

  9. It could be worse. We have one small boy in our school with the most gorgeous 'surfer dude' type hair - long, flowing with sun-bleached blond highlights in it. His mother's pride and joy. He attacked the middle bit very badly with some scissors - the only solution was to give the poor child a crew cut. His mother sobbed her heart out!
