Yep we're putting the PLANS together.
First sets through from the architects today. Squeeeeeeeeeee!
Next step - talk to neighbours behind us to see just how far back we can put the party wall without it actually being on their side.
Keep your fingers crossed.
Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!! I'm sooooo feeling your excitement on this :o)
ReplyDeleteOh, and while he's been off work with THE WRIST Mr Moog has started talking about our extension....and drawing up new plans and MAKING A PLAN!!
Might wait and see how yours goes first ;o)

p.s. he vacuumed and dusted while I was out at work today (!!!!!!). If I'd known he had an inner new man I'd have broken his wrist for him years ago!!
We even like the same movies!!!!

Congrats - I know how exciting this sort of project can be!
ReplyDeletep.s. Not familiar with the term "party wall." Is that where the party ends and the real world begins? ;)
Woohoo, this is getting really exciting. Don't forget lots of "before" shots to compare with the incredibly fabulous after shots!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Joy :o)
Ohhh - exciting times Trash. Good luck with the neighbours.
ReplyDeleteOooh, how exciting!!! I wish you could send some of your remodeling mojo over here!
ReplyDeleteYah! I love how the language over there just makes me feel like I'm watching an episode of Property Ladder or Grand Designs.... please keep using things like 'party wall' and 'kitchen diner'.
ReplyDeleteI think I might need to move to the UK.
Exciting times Trashy! We've had loads of renovations done in Locketland recently but the timing of them - in the middle of a nervous breakdown - was not the best! One day I'll take some photos and blog about it all. L x
ReplyDeleteSo excited over here too. It's all really really happening! I hope the neighbours won't mind you taking a few extra feet - that was the plan - right?
