destructoBoy is having a birthday party Sunday week.

  2. Sounds fun -- does he want to dress like a pirate? Eyepatches and bandanas are fun for all the guests!

  4. get a paddling pool and place a target in the bottom and then fill with water. Stand the pirates back and let them throw cannons to hit the target (it's harder than it looks).

bury a chest in the lower forty...they'lll be gone for weeks !

  5. OOH OOH OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH! put the kettle on, i'll be RIGHT OVER!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) (i cannot decide what i would like MORE actually--devising a treasure map-based, hopefully piratty-themed party...or being invited to one! (apparently, i am a 9-year-old boy in the body of a 46-year-old woman; come to think of it, this explains A LOT, doesn't it?!?!?!) CANNOT WAIT to hear details and then see photos!!!!!!! ♥♥♥

  6. For a pirate party for one of my boys I sprayed 200 pennies with gold spray paint and hid them all over the house and garden (you can limit them to certain areas). A prize for the person who collected the most! The cake was decorated like a treasure chest!
