Floor for new laundry

I have fallen in love with this idea. I think it clever, looks smart and is exceptionally fabulous.

CK remains unconvinced about having the ENTIRE floor pennified but has had a lovely time claculating the cost of the floor per square metre, the quantity required, and what how many would be need if two pence pieces were used instead because, as we all know, they are twice the diameter of a penny and therefore take up four times the space.

Do you love it? Do you?

We are currently tabling it as an issue for future discussion.

  1. Not sure that would be legal unless the coins were out dated. I thought it looked like jigsaws when I first looked. Now that would be a good use for all those puzzles that get done but not allowed to be undone. Cherrie

  2. What about using Notes 5 or 10 they would be bigger :) get CK to calculate that then the pennies will sound much better

  3. I think it looks like a fab idea but I would soooo hate to be the one to lay a floor like that!

  4. Love it! Really love it. But I don't know if I would ever get K-man to agree to it.

I must know: is it cheaper than bog standard flooring?

  5. I think that looks like a fabulous idea! When I was little my mum always used to give me the shiny pennies that she was given in her change when out shopping and I loved them - I haven't been able to pass that fascination with shiny pennies on to the little Lockets unfortunately!
